The stories explored during the series' 153 episodes remain thoroughly enjoyable, however, as too do the characters who feature in them. Much like some of the humor, the animation in the original run of Dragon Ball is starting to show its age a little, though this is perhaps to be expected given that it's now more than three decades old.
